Ride for McPin in Ride London 2017

Ride London 2016

Ride London 2016

Are you up for a challenge? Do you want to raise money for life-saving mental health research?  McPin has places for Ride London 2017 and we would love for you to join our team. In 2016 our team raised thousands of pounds to support life-saving research into suicide prevention, and had great fun doing it. This year with your help we want to raise even more.

Why Ride for McPin?

Over 6,500 people die from suicide each year in the UK and the numbers are increasing. Many more people suffer from suicidal thoughts or self-harm. Hundreds of thousands of people lose friends or family. We are determined to help fund research that will save and improve lives. You can read more about the latest project we funded here.

We promise that every penny you raise will go to funding research. Our administration costs are covered by the funds we received when the foundation was created.

Seeing Trafalgar Square was joyous, though pushing down the mall, I had nothing left.

Seeing all those people, happy, doing something important to them, for a variety of reasons, was great.  I felt good about raising money for mental health research, and being upfront to my friends and colleagues that mental health is something that people can talk about. I know exercise doesn’t help everyone… But I do know it works for me.

What do I need to do?

All we ask is that you commit to raising a minimum of £500. You will also of course need to be ready to put in the training to be able to complete the event. In return, as well as the knowledge that you are helping to fund life-saving research you will receive a McPin cycling jersey and an invitation to our celebratory picnic at the end of the event.

If you interested please fill out an application form and send it to contact@mcpin.org

Places will fill up quickly!

I already have a place through the public ballot, can I still ride for McPin?

Of course, just drop an email to contact@mcpin.org
