Remit of the group
Bath Research and Development gives support and advice to researchers working in Bath and NE Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire. An important part of our wok is to support the involvement of patients, carers and other members of the public in planning and conducting health research.
Anybody with an interest in health research can join our ‘Participate Network’ – you choose what kind of involvement you want and how little or how much time you want to give. You can sign up to be a Research Panel member (if you have experience of a specific health problem) or as a Research Partner (if you have a general interest in contributing to health research studies) or as a participant in a specific study or trial.
Frequency of meetings
3 or 4 times a year, or more if interested. All activities are voluntary. We keep in regular email contact telling you about opportunities, events or research studies at the university or in the local area. We also send you a bi-monthly newsletter telling you about our activities.
Who can consult the group?
Any health researchers in the university or NHS in Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire.
See website above
